I compare AI 'Artists' to people who commission an art piece. describe what they want to somebody/something else the art piece is made for them. they then turn to the public and display the artwork as their own.
I believe there is only 1 way to cheat at art: having somebody else make it and claim it as your own. that applies to art theft *AND* Generative AI. both outsource the creative process entirely to somebody or something else, which means it is not _your_ art.
footnote: when I refer to AI-Generated Images, I do _not_ include assistive tools like Content Aware Fill or similar. I am specifically targeting individuals and corporations that encourage "typing a prompt and it generates an image for you"
