I always compare AI art to microwave food. Everybody has a microwave at home and use it frequently or occasionally. It's cheap, quick and the food serves its purpose. Yet people still go out to eat at restaurants and would be appalled if they were served microwave food even though they eat it at home. People want authenticity and unfortunately the world is moving in the direction where authenticity is becoming a luxury.
