What alarms me more than anything is that big tech is not building a firewall air gap between AI and the world outside of it's perception and control. The AI should never be able to see the real world or interface directly with real world controls. The only way to ensure that the machines don't kill us is to be able to safely and securely shut them down. All inputs from sensors should be filtered through a firewall before making it to the inputs to the AI for processing. All actions performed by AI should pass through a firewall before the action takes place in the real world.
