Comparing AI to the NFT fad kinda gives me a bit of hope. The internet has been trashed by this slop for a few years now, so hopefully it either flops with the investors or some legal change is made where AI can't use copyrighted or personal works without permission of the artist(s).
Imo the tech is great, but its being heavily misused. The only reason AI is so much more advanced compared to five years ago is because we decided to start stealing.
