I don't think the thought: "doing work in the real world" is a valid place to find refuge. Even doing work in the real world; building, plumbing, deconstructing, constructing, are all intellectual problems ultimately. All that does is stave off the inevitable a little longer. Not to mention: if everyone becomes a plumber the system collapses and everyone loses anyway. What we need to do is make the inevitable beneficial to everyone, we need to not disrespect ourselves, and have compassion for each other moving forward.
