It's not the ethics of AI that's the problem here, it's the copyright enforcement that's the actual problem. There certainly are ethics debates about AI, but when it comes to this art "theft", it's about fair compensation, right? The copyright systems as it stands does not protect you, it protects the corporations. And while this paradigm shift brought by AI may result into new regulations, you can be sure it'll be there to serve the interests of the corporations, and you will be given pennies on the dollar for your work.
