I'm in a weird spot about this. I had ChatGPT teach my wife how to code when she got tired of doing a sales job. It created a 90-day plan for her, taught her everything, gave her quizzes and labs and exams, and audited her code and taught her best practises. She got a job recently as a Jr. Engineer. Her company thinks she lied on her resume because her code is so much better than some of their seasoned devs and she has really good code hygiene. AI can be used for wonderful, amazing things. But these guys speak the truth; this stuff is CRAZY and I can absolutely see awful people using it to further awful ends. Doesn't even have to be AGI; any LLM is already infinitely smarter than any individual human, and with a little bit of prompt engineering skill, they can learn to use the tool for insane purposes.
