"Self-driving" trains, trams, trucks, and buses would significantly reduce the need for parking and completely change the landscape of SoCal. The key is to make them hybrid or electric and as time-efficient as Japanese transit. Power them through every renewable energy system cheaper than fossil fuels, and you can stick it to the politicians. Now, give me a few billion clams to get started...lol
