The problem is, you could just ask an AI to create an image that suggests a particular relationship between the non-existent artists and society/ the subject matter. We don't *really* know whether Hals had that kind of financial relationship with the governesses - that might be what the historical record shows but we don't know *for sure*. Same goes for any AI art created inline with any made up backstory. Very creepy. AI is going to be a disaster. Also the example you showed looked like a doctored photo rather than a painting.
