What if I were to believe the only issue with ai art is plagerism? Well that would be untrue corporate greed is also an issue. But point being I'm neither for nor against ai art. I feel that art just like any media and entertainment industry has the right to proper accreditation for the artists work and efforts. I'm against plagerism and all other forms of artistic identity theft. But that doesn't mean I have to be against ai art conceptually too. I feel it's an issue of execution regarding ai that the internet is not a good source of data for any ai machine regardless of if it's art or not. Simply the internet isn't credible enough to make "good ai." How this relates back to art is there's a lot of arguments but for and against ai art. But at least what I think matters is intent and credit. I believe their can be good uses for ai art without that competing with artists. For example ai art as graphic design instead of artistic liberty, or ai art as an aid for teaching, and editing. For example on phones the standard photo app comes with magic eraser for editing that's ai. Or how you can take a picture and copy text on it that's also ai. These uses aren't plagerism. Ai isn't there yet though to be able to do so for art. I think the best solution for now until there is dedicated donations for ai data. Is for there to be categories if something is ai the audience has the right to know that. In summary I don't want to get TASes and Speed-runs confused.
