Look at the people behind Ai. That is enough for me to conclude this technology tends to replace jobs. From what I read, fewer employees = greater profits for them. I seriously doubt any meaningful regulation of Ai would follow. Unless we vanquish these soulless, morally deficient, right wing fascists billionaires from our midst we and democracy will die an unpleasant death.
