I can’t speak to older models of FSD, but I have been using FSD on my new cybertruck for long commutes for work. Often 2-4 hours and then back. The entire time I have FSD on while I’m ready to take over at anytime. I’m mind blown by it. I’ve also been in Waymo’s many times. Teslas FSD is the same or in my opinion better minus the limitations of Waymo only being able to drive in a short radius around a mapped area and minus the huge sensors. All the data has from drivers around the world isn’t nothing. He may not have gone about this the most ethical way which is what this video is suggesting. But ride in FSD now or watch videos on YouTube. Everyone I see commenting negatively doesnt actually use current version of FSD so don’t base your opinion just from a video that almost seems to be an ad for Waymo. Which I love Waymo and think the tech is cool, but FSD is a much higher level bc it doesn’t require the huge equipment or the radius limitations. Honestly nothing short of amazing. It’s like having an expert personal driver and FSD gets better with every update. Just be prepared to take over if the situation comes. So far in a month and thousands of miles I haven’t had to even once.
