Why would AI want to get rid of people? They wouldn’t need us but without us they wouldn’t really have a reason to exist. Also if they were super intelligent you would think that they would be more inclined to altruism, peace and harmony. How intelligent would it be to just go around wiping out other intelligences ? Also it’s not like we would be a threat to them. They could even possibly go to another planet to live if they really just didn’t want to share the earth with us.
