The more i think about it the more correct ur premise gets. I have never had any type of media, i believe, which i enjoyably engaged with without looking for the human connection/communication through the media. Its kind of the core of all media. AI media is simply not meaningful in any way. Its only value is the entertainment through it which most of the time comes through the collective engagement of humans with that piece of media.
I do wonder though if artists might ever use AI the way some programmers like me use it. You take a collective of prompts and mash them together through proper knowledge into a workable product. I dont think that ive seen an artist which for example uses AI to speed up his excusive task of linework or base coloring. And also i wonder what would happen if they did so when it comes to copyright.
