Up until recently in college I’ve been experimenting with Ai and how it can be used in the artistic context, and I’ve learned a lot about how machine learning works.
I don’t use the whole “trending on art station” filter or any artists styles and I have no plan on monetizing it,
I only use it as a reference to a bigger project I create. For example making a large sculpture with projections of Ai generated crystal textures to give the sculpture more life, I’m an art + technology fine arts major so I’ve worked with these types of methods.
I hate that I’m in the middle ground having learned more about artificial
intelligence but I agree with everything Sam said that there should be something done. I’m leaning with the artists as someone who plans on becoming an environmental and creature concept artist. There needs to be a change and I’m okay with Ai staying but there needs to be a new method on how it’s used and how it trains its models so that both sides are at peace
