when i first learned about ai i thought it was so cool and that it was such a useful tool, and sometimes it is, but honestly you're so right. at this point it's gone WAY too far. as someone who works creatively in not just visual art but also writing (because its getting into making poetry and novels and stuff) its so hurtful that people will go through a computer instead of an actual artists who truely deserve the attention and money from their work. ai is such a cool concept, but because of some bad people it's being misused in harmful ways.
