There is a lot going on in the country that make this a possibility, sooner, rather then later.
My biggest concern is that there are way more people in power that are so incredibly stupid that it is remarkable. The bottom line isnt what the people want any more, it's what money can convince them to want through media.
Unfortaintly, self driving vehicles isnt that hard of a sale and the guy who made this video was clearly addressing the stupid people in an effort to make them feel as if they're not stupid so they would side with him.
I personally dont care how many protesters showed up or even if there were protesters.
I want to here numbers and how viable the experts are saying the tech is.
You say we have time, you say we can retire, prove it.
Dont mock the truck someone drives or who might not like the tech because that proves nothing and does even less.
