The way I see it, generative ai is just a glorified image search, you didn’t make the image you’re searching for it and whatever it spits out will get ‘close enough’ to whatever you imagined, the difference between art and ai is there’s no translation for your mind to the paper, it’s just alignment, if that makes sense.
