Were artists concerned when Jobs were lost because of self self-serve service stations replacing driveway attendants who checked oil cleaned your window and fueled your car this is just one example of modenrization taking jobs, I find it ironic that these people feel threatened now that progress its effecting them but they did nothing when a continual stream of jobs were lost because of automation in so many industries, so called progress has cost people jobs for 100s of years, why is this any different, humanity is entering the digital age and there will be massive changes to the way we live, if you look at the big picture nobody is ever secure to this all it takes is a machine that can out do whatever you do and its time to look for another job, and these people want protection, sorry progress doesn't give anyone protection, there is so much fear mongering going on with AI by people that feel threatened by it.
