The scary thing is, the law is one area where people can actually be held accountable, and there are strong enforcement mechanisms (like sanctions or disbarment).
But most areas of life aren't so rigorous, and have weaker (or nonexistent) policing. Who's going to stem the tide of political misinformation generated by Russian LLM bots?
