I sometimes try to use AI models, and they cannot even do simple tasks such as find non variable coeffecients in raw C code, something I can easily do with ctrl+f. I heavily heavily doubt these models think in any way, and I am continually becoming more and more frustrated with AI.
Yet many others I know who use AI don't find errors and issues in it and treat it almost as if it is perfect at everything, perhaps they are only asking simple questions of the AI, or are just not qualified enough in the domain they are using the AI in to understand what is B.S and what is not.
