I think the issue with AI is suddenly everyone without talent can pretend they have any. But if they didn't put any effort in learning a skill before, why do you think they will now? Artistic skills are more than just technical skills, you also need vision and a good understanding of human behavior and emotions. Sure maybe someday AI will have that, but right now it's shit at any of that.
