I think that what they’re missing is the fact that art is not only about giving a message or making pretty things. It’s about loving the making of it, loving the learning of it, the efforts put into it. It’s not always about the result. AI art is nothing but telling it what to do, there’s no efforts put into it. If you want to actually make art then learn to actually make art. It’s a lazy way to make art. It’s as if people used a robot to do surgery. They only tell them what to do and just sit back watching it do the actual work. Then they can’t say "they weren’t born with the skill to do surgery but wanted to save lives". It’s always something you learn, and by leaving the robot to do it they are just being lazy.
