How is AI going to solve climate change, and when it comes up with a real solution, who is going to make the convict voters follow the new rules? Your intellect, real or digital, doesn't matter too much right now. We have a macroscopic problem, and the next big tech thing isn't going to help at all, at best it will make it worse at a slower rate because of a little less waste. But the policies that brought us here, AI isn't going to make humanity less wasteful, sensible macroscopically, less selfish or egotistical, so what use is it? Unless you put it in charge of everything, it can't help any more than EV hummers
