Ted Kazynski was right all along - technology and those who create it are the real threat to humanity.
Everything they work towards, is to replace and eliminate the human element.
The real threat is not Putin or Trump. It’s rich tech nerds, who only care about efficiency and profit, by eliminating human workers.
I never thought I’d see the day where truck drivers had to worry about whether or not they will have a job, because some tech nerd decided it would be a better and safer choice to have a computer drive a 60,000+ pound object down the road, going 65 MPH - because we all know computers don’t malfunction ever and stop working properly(sarcasm)
If all the jobs are taken over by A.I. and machines, what is left for those of us who are not rich, who work to make our money in order to buy and own things, whether it be clothes, a house or even food? What are we moving towards? Because the rich and powerful will not be okay with people not having to work, and having nothing but time on our hands. That is a danger to them.
I’m calling it now. Those who are not rich and powerful (or connected) are heading towards slavery or genocide.
