As an artist and musician, I can tell you that the ONLY reason the AI guys play nice with music but trample over artists is that the VAST majority of copyrighted music is owned by record labels and protected by music publishing groups like BMI. Artists have none of these things. The AI guys would get their eyebrows sued off by the music industry if they tried to do in music what they're doing with visual arts. So basically, we visual artists are getting screwed beause the AI guys can get away with it.
