I have just 2 years of development experience, I have no desire to right code from start to beginning, I use ChatGPT as my co-worker, I don't rely on it, I use the power side of it - for example to find source of the problem, to create complex algorithmic solutions, to make refactoring, which I of course check and debug afterwards,... it is also a great advice giver - he knows from many sources how to do things, while I am not, and looking at 100ds blogs and solutions in SO is just a nightmare before shoot my brains off. I learned to work with it, I know what to expect and it is much more productive than I could do anyway. I have my 5 pet projects under development, I have my large commercial project which has 4th improved iteration/version which I would not have dreamed about in my late 48. But I realise that I am spoiled - I could not write pretty simple code from scratch ...I love developing, but not do a "carpenter job". I love do UI/UX myself, all the ideation - with ChatGPT I can do everything I could not before.
