What many people forget is the idea of fair use, yes you have made fair points and i myself not an artist (i writer stories) but i understand your point
It's ironic when Disney star wars steals from actual artist but the moment AI art comes out everyone goes nuts
Just like my stories, artist are fair play with fair use
My rules in my opinion is this
1: do not claim the art as yours or anyone else that had no part in it
2: if it isn't yours don't use it for profits
3: the last one i can think of is this, show respect to artists wishes, they worked hard on it
