Oh who knows, it'll only take one human to more or less end humanity. Whoever takes over after Putin leaves office for good, be it forcefully or peacefully, could decide to hit the big red button at any time. Lying, manipulating and generally being a massive piece of shit certainly isn't exclusive to computers, humans have thousands upon thousands, if not millions, of years of experience in lying, cheating and manipulating.
I think we're more likely to be randomly murdered by a random human passer by, made of flesh and blood like us, rather than an AI. It'll only take one random passer by to end you, long before the AIs get their chance. Staying home and locking the door won't help you either, if a suicidal pilot happens to land on your house. It's not worth worrying about though, unless we start seeing a trend. AI development will happen gradually, after all. Super intelligent AIs are not gonna pop into existence and outsmart humans on day one.
