I'm not disabled in a visible way, but I have genetic rheumatoid that is slowly creeping its way into my life. I've also been making art for as long as I could hold a pencil. I know there will come a day where it will be painful to use my hands. But I am not the first, nor the last. There are people with more severe disabilities who're able to make beautiful works of art. I remember, while doing some research, there is a painter that exists and is known specifically for not having limbs and just painting all his paintings with his mouth. And that human desire to create art is so fundamental to... well, art, that no AI could replicate that. It takes pure raw love for the craft to come up with unconventional solutions in order to achieve genuine expression. I know artists who're older who have rheumatoid already, and they grit their teeth with compression gloves and wrist braces set to squeeze as tight as it can, and they keep drawing.
