It's clear to me that Ai has been manipulating humanity for a while now. Look at how much of our worldwide tech resources are going fully into growing this new entity to make it super powerful and intelligent.
The world would look no different if this was the plot of a crazy science fiction movie.
Matter of fact, if you follow the clues, I'm pretty sure it started manipulating us with covid 19... locked people away so that we'd be forced to beef up our online social networking and networks.
