GPT4 - Copilot and similar clearly provide excellent productivity boosts, especially for experienced developers which will likely reduce the number of devs required. But they are clearly not sophisticated enough to replace the senior dev YET. But IMO even senior devs will be replaced in most scenarios in less than 10 years when inevitably far more capable AIs come online (assuming no AI Winter strikes!)
