the idea that this is just tech we all have to deal with being the new thing, that programmers like myself will force it into mainsteam is such bs. We hate AI as much as artists do, at least when it comes to generative art. Not all technology is good technology, art isn't just, generating visuals, it's the intent behind it. I love art and culture. It's a wonderful way to express the human experience, and as a programmer, I know damn well that you can't do that with code alone. This is made by, and for one group alone. Companies and businesses looking to save money on advertising and production costs, like Disney.
