No , it’s going to wipe out the middle class first.
People who sit behind computers will be the first and hardest hit as a.i makes them redundant overnight.
Think lawyers , underwriters , traders , journalists, middle managers etc
Working class people who do ( sometimes ) very technical jobs that require high dexterity and problem solving skills in real time and in a mobile environment is the holy grail for a.i and robotics.
And remember that any robot that can do that extremely difficult brief will need to be self sufficient and autonomous to make it more cost effective and reliable than a human.
I think we are still a very long way off the later, so the shit storm is currently a middle class problem not a working class one.
