I asked Gemini to name 5 famous polar explorers: among the five I got were Matthew Henson (African American explorer who was part of Peary's expedition), Josephine Peary (Robert Peary's wife), and Ada Blackjack (an Inuk woman who survived the Stefansson expedition). No mention of Robert Peary himself or Stefannson. Nor Robert Scott or James Ross. Totally unbelievable.
