The newspaper 🗞️ had its own analog algorithm that drove you towards the same echo chamber as social media does today. It was just slower. The idea that social media is somehow doing something new is ridiculous. At its base it’s still MEDIA. And the media is a product that molds itself to the desires of the customers. It’s always been that way.
