We already know how this is going to go. AI has already become a crutch for a huge percentage of students and it will only increase and spread to everyone in every field. He's either ignorant and shortsighted (highly unlikely) or he's being disengenuous to sell his product. Or in denial, I suppose. Even if he recognized and was appalled by the implications, he's got so much momentum towards this stuff.
