You wouldn't be like a 1970s idea of a robot clunking around in cardboard tubes wrapped in silver foil. You would have an augmented brain to give you super intelligence, organs and biology replaced with better and more resilient versions offering extended lifespan and abilities beyond the norm.
The people who choose this lifestyle will always want to change so would be evolving constantly. Its coming, you don't have to change peoples views just use technology to outlive them.
