All art is built on tools that minimize human effort. Maximum effort, meanwhile, does not always guarantee that something is art. If I hit a canvas 1001 times with a stone and leave a bunch of scrapes in it, it certainly took effort and I certainly did it myself. But it ain't art.
I'm fine with the argument that AI art takes less effort than man-made art, but I'm not fine with people throwing a tantrum because someone didn't do things by hand. Ive had friends who were bullied online because artists saw them using AI art, as well as artist friends eho were attacked because someone who didnt like them claimed they were using AI and then the interned jumped them (theur art was human).
People behaved the exact same way with Photoshop and its easy to forget how much artists spat venom at it and its users because it wasnt real art. That's such luddite behaviour and it happens every time there's new tech.
