All of this glorious AI fantasy is missing out on one very important detail. As it progressively replaces 10s and 100s of thousands of employees, how do these gluttonous, greedy CEOs and Boards expect to keep increasing their profits when fewer and fewer people have any income to spend buying anything; because AI replaced them and put hem OUT OF WORK. Eventually AI will reach the point of totally diminishing returns because no one will have any money to buy anything so AI will have nothing to do because it cannot produce anything (or it won't need to produce anything) because there is no point in producing anything if there is no one who can buy it. These senseless races to the bottom for ever increasing profits are patently pathetic and asinine.
