My issue with poisoning AI is how it's being used. It is supposed to be used as a deterrent to curb theft and protect artists ( as it was made to be used ). Instead, it's being used with the hope that it gets used to train. This is like putting a gold pocket watch on your front porch waiting to shoot someone who tries to steal it because you hate thieves lol EDIT: Just to clarify my stance, I do NOT approve of people profiting off of AI generated art, or copying the style of someone who does not consent to it. I have an appreciation for people who spend time honing their personal skills. However, people who misuse AI shouldn't cause a feud between people who develop AI and artists.
