Geoffrey Hinton said the quiet part out loud, after you create AI that can replace intelligence and knowledge work, what are millions of people going to do, they can''t be doing physical labor and trades which are also diminishing with robots advancing year by year, and those physical jobs only exist because you have a people paying for them.. when you automate millions of white collar workers out of an income, who is going to spend on restaurants or other kinds of services that require physical labor? each of those industries have a limit in capacity of hiring too
