You have to be careful this guy just did what most humans do, they choose down the middle when presented with two conflicting ideas. If someone says AI will wipe us, and someone else says AI is safe we are in control, the natural response is to assume it's in the middle. This is why celebrities and whatnot just straight lie when they are caught with or about something. They just deny it and people assume it's somewhere in the middle. You have to be careful when thinking like this and listening to people like this guy who obviously just did this. It makes zero sense it's oing to be anywhere in the middle. Either AI will get smarter and at that point it's way too late, or it wont and we will have control of it. Those are the two options there is no in the middle.
