Oh c'mon, because the computer realised it was a trick question and made a joke doesn't mean it's sentient. AI basically check an unimaginable pattern sets for repetitive learning and gives an answer. That's it. Is not feeling, my humble opinion is that it looks and feels like we are talking to a person and real people are starting to get confuse or not being able to handle that and spill their spiritual/religious beliefs into a machine.
