Would a gradual adoption of say a negative income tax based on level of automation and employment reduction not be able to remove the problem of inflation by giving the industry time to adapt to higher demand?
Is it a tradeoff between generating more output and more leisure time, if fewer work has to be done to generate the same output? I think it's hard to wrap my head around the dynamics...
Maybe it would be easier to scale up automated processes being able to eat the cake and have it too. Then again, there are still limits on resource availability.
