I swear this fear mongering and hype is such an American thing. BP, like most media and it's sensationalism driven forbearers is just adding to this for views.
The idea that super intelligent AI will displace humans is a result of a very materialist, reductionist pov. If one simply shifts the focus even a little bit to a more spiritual perspective, it becomes clear that humans are social beings with physical bodies and AI could never truly replace the human Spirit.
Relax, spend time with ones you move instead of this garbage and enjoy this precious life.
I will be unsubscribing from BP going forward, in fine with their BS cynicism and sensationalism.
