I work for financial services, specifically a financial support service within a large bank. Alongside the ever growing and alarming increase of unmanageable debt among full time workers, every week we see a new email about jobs being at risk. They are terming it a 'simple and agile' way of working, but it has come alongside stuff like bots writing notes to put on accounts, bots creating MI. No new jobs have been created. Bosses saw call times were reduced , MI was produced instantly. Advisers had extra stress of taking more calls, and suddenly there was no requirement to have as many people as call lines were shorter.
