Absolutely disingenuous. The new jobs created were from profitability opportunities to be able to expand. With all banks, insurance companies, law firms, accounting and every other profession hiring developers to instil new software and programs for all workers to be more efficient and the models getting way more capable, it is inevitable that you start with juniors then move to seniors where the financial opportunities are given. These corporations are so thirsty and will die to competitors that enter with fewer employees, lower pricing and more advanced AI bots.
