I'm an author and I've been watching ebook and audiobook stores overflow with AI generated slop over the last two years. And I really don't care. I still do what I love and I'm not going to stop. Personally I'm not interested in reading stories generated by AI, either. I read because I'm interested in human ideas and messages, and they way that person chooses to convey them.
