AI art and AI anything makes sense from a profit seeking perspective. Paying humans to do stuff isn't exactly desirable. If you can get the same or better outcomes through a machine, that's the obvious answer. Following that line of thought, it was only a matter of time till AI replaces or at least disrupt the art space.
This begs the question, what can we do about it? Is it all doom and gloom?
Let's also keep in mind that's there's definitely some areas in which AI/machine replacing humans is a plus for everyone, meaningless bullshit jobs for instance. Unfortunately, that will probably be the last thing replaced by technological advances (if they even desire to do so) afterall why should corporations prioritize human betterment over profits?
